Erin is an experienced attorney whose practice focuses on civil litigation, including insurance defense, insurance coverage, governmental liability, construction (defect and contractual matters), commercial liability, property issues, professional liability, personal injury/wrongful death, employment, and consumer rights litigation. Erin is also a mediator for Montgomery County Common Pleas Court and offers private mediation services. Erin is a shareholder and serves as president of her firm, Green & Green, Lawyers.
A graduate of Indiana University (with high distinction), and The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law (with honors), Erin was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society, a national honor fraternity for college graduates, and to the Order of the Coif, a national honor society for law school graduates. Erin is a Martindale-Hubbell “AV Preeminent” rated lawyer and has been recognized as an Ohio SuperLawyer© annually since 2017. Erin is admitted to practice in Ohio as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio, the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Erin is a member of the Dayton and Ohio State Bar Associations, the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys, the Defense Research Institute, The Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, and is a Master of the Carl D. Kessler Inn of Court, an organization of trial counsel and judges and the Lawyers Club of Dayton.
Erin was recently sworn in as a Trustee at Large for the Dayton Bar Association Board of Trustees. Erin is also a fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation and recently became a member of the Dayton Bar Foundation and is an officer of the Lawyers Club Board of Trustees. Erin serves as the chairperson of the Sugarcreek Township Board of Zoning Appeals and on her sorority’s housing corporation board of directors as part of her community involvement and has taught trial practice and alternative dispute resolution at the University of Dayton College of Law.
When not working, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, Dan, and their dog, Emma, as well as photography, working in her garden, cooking, and beekeeping.
